What is Delegata's One-Time Service?
Short answer. Delegata's One-Time Service is physician-led coordination of one medical case, with no annual membership. Delegata offers three leading doctors to choose from, books priority appointments, prepares and translates records, arranges second opinions and manages any hospital admission, and the engagement ends once that episode of care is complete.
The service covers outpatient and inpatient care. Outpatient cases include consultations, MRI, CT and PET scans, check-ups and minor procedures. Inpatient cases include elective surgery, cancer treatment and deliveries. Delegata handles pre-admission tests, room booking and hospital liaison. It also manages insurance pre-authorisation and claims. Families receive regular updates during the stay. International patients get visa help, transfers, accommodation and interpretation. After discharge, Delegata plans follow-up, home care and rehabilitation.
How fast does Delegata respond to a new case?
Short answer. After a 30-minute online consultation, a Delegata physician sends a written report with personalised recommendations within 1 to 2 working days. The consultation costs AED 300 and is credited toward the arrangement fee if you decide to go ahead with Delegata.
Booking happens online. You pick a doctor and a time, then pay to confirm the slot. A Google Meet link arrives by email. The consultation lasts 30 minutes. Bring recent records, imaging and test results. The more complete the file, the more useful the review. Delegata tells you what is missing after the first conversation. The arrangement fee for the full case is quoted in writing before any payment. You can also message Delegata on WhatsApp first.
Can I use Delegata only for a second opinion?
Short answer. Yes. A physician-led second opinion can be the whole engagement. Delegata reviews the diagnosis and the proposed plan independently, often when surgery has been recommended. You receive a written report within 1 to 2 working days of the consultation and can stop there.
A useful second opinion needs the original records and imaging, not a summary. Delegata collects and translates them for you. The reviewing specialist is chosen for the specific condition. Members receive international second opinions as part of their plan. Essential includes one a year, Select two and Legacy an unlimited number. If you decide to proceed with treatment, Delegata can coordinate it. The consultation fee is then credited toward the arrangement fee. Your records are shared only with the doctors involved in the review.
